Hey folks! Long time no see!! This summer has been extremely busy and has just flown by. I haven’t had much time to myself because as you may (or may not) know, I got married!! Planning for this day took up so much of my time, but I wouldn’t trade that for the world.
I wanted to share some of the pictures from the day and how the day went in general. A lot of the decor was a DIY, so I’m planning on doing other posts about that.
The night before, all the girls stayed at the house and the boys went to an Air BnB. It was really nice to wake up to all the girls in the house because we were all so eager for the day. It was so lovely being all together, getting ready and having a good time.

The guys seemed to have a good time at their Air BnB. A little birdie told me that they went out to a strip the night before… but I’m not gonna talk about that LOL. So here’s them being happy about having a beer.

Brady and I decided that we wanted to do our first look before our ceremony. I’m so glad we did! It was a much more intimate setting and we could talk about how good we thought each other looked.

After our first look we headed over to Birds Hill park where there was a really nice bike path that we could take pictures on. It was forecasted to rain all day, so I’m glad it didn’t while we were our taking pictures, because they all turned out so beautifully!

Not everything on a wedding day can go perfect though… it did start to rain, RIGHT as we were about to start the ceremony. I was really hopping we could have done it outside, but it is what it is. It was just as beautiful inside of the tent.

The rest of the night was a lot of fun with dancing and drinks. It was kind of a blur because I was saying hello to so many people! We did sneak out for about 20 minutes to take sunset pictures (which were all so beautiful too).

Our first dance was so cute. We both love country so we picked Grow Old by Florida Georgia Line. The lyrics represent what we both want and it makes me excited about our future together.

So here’s to forever with my best friend! I couldn’t imagine being with anyone else for the rest of my life.

xoxo,
Carli
